Time here is running out and we read that the Whangerei falls were a don't miss item. Absolutely true. Here's our walk around the top of the falls. Don't worry, Mom. There was a very nice, easy path.
Then down to the bottom
Then to the Kauri Park, along the stream, through a meadow and past this... Someone decided to decorate a bit, or maybe to leave a little gift for the rest of us.
We reach the big kauri trees.
And the canopy walk, a very sturdy boardwalk through the treetops.
We turn back to the falls.
Back to the top. Hey, don't climb over this fence.
Really, don't climb over this fence!
